The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role will see you work within a highly experienced maintenance team, that is extremely focused on achieving maximised plant up time, by undertaking preventative and corrective maintenance.
The Dyno Nobel site has a variety of fixed plant and equipment, ranging from compressors, pumps, valves, turbines, generators and conveyors across a fully integrated Ammonium Nitrate complex. The facility comprises of Ammonia, Nitric Acid, Ammonium Nitrate and Emulsion plants plus infrastructure, utilities and power generation.
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
- Undertake scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as required
- Fault finding and diagnostics of equipment failures
- Provide technical execution support to the operations team
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams on continuous improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing plant or similar heavy industry continuous production environment is desirable
- Must have a Certificate III in Engineering – Trade qualifications in Mechanical Trade (Fitting & Turning)
- Basic knowledge of maintenance systems. SAP is utilised on site.
- Highly motivated team player with solid work ethic
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate constructive decision-making skills
