About the team:
This role offers you a unique opportunity to use your attention to detail and well-rounded AP skills to perform a role with plenty of variety and interest in a dynamic environment. Reporting directly to the Finance Operations Manager you will work as part of a small team of Finance Operations Officers within the Finance & Corporate Affairs department.
What you will be doing:
Supplier Invoice data entry, including PO and non-PO vouchers
Payment run and manual payments preparation, including wire transfer & RTGS
Employee reimbursements
Supplier setup & maintenance
Supplier statements reconciliation
Workflow chasing
Group inbox query management (from both internal & external stakeholders)
Assisting the team & manager with ad hoc duties
What you will bring:
Must have
Experience in Accounts Payable
Previous experience in a high-volume transactional environment
Experience in a mid to large corporate, B2B environment
Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel)
Focus on completeness, accuracy and high attention to details
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Be adaptable and have a can do attitude
Good time management skills & ability to prioritise workload against tight deadlines
Honest, reliable and work collaboratively
Ability to take initiative in problem solving
Continuous improvement mindset
Nice to have
PeopleSoft or Workday ERP software
Knowledge of ASX’s operations and financial market
Accounting degree or understanding of accounting principles
Developed and maintained strong cross functional working relationship
