We’re currently expanding our team and looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join us in delivering quality service to our customers.

Location: Mackay

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage incoming and outgoing communications, provide exceptional customer service, and direct administrative activities in the office while learning and growing their experience in the transport and logistics industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Recognise opportunities to improve current processes.
• Ensure Rostering matches Customer Expectations.
• Responsible for regular toolbox meetings.
• Communicate effectively to handover to the PM shift.
• Ensure training is up to date including planning and distribution of weekend contacts.
• Oversee pick up requests to ensure allocators are getting all freight collected.
• Planning and allocation of equipment and drivers ensuring KPI’s are being met for Driver CRA’s.
• Lead a safety culture, including the management of fatigue.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in senior leadership roles with a strong knowledge base in transport and logistics.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft suite of packages and other operational systems is high preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain efficient workflows.
• Capacity to identify issues and find solutions to challenges that arise in day-to-day operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with various stakeholders.
• Aptitude for identifying issues and developing solutions to address challenges in day-to-day operations.
