What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end marketing strategy for major NBL Group events from concept to completion
- Drive go-to-market strategy and execution for ticketing, promotions, and sales conversions
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, content, production, commercial, partnerships)
- Monitor ticket sales performance and proactively pivot strategy to meet revenue targets
- Manage event marketing budgets to maximise ROI
- Oversee audience segmentation, CRM strategy, and customer journey optimisation
- Brief media partners and agencies to ensure cohesive messaging and strong ROI
- Analyse post-event performance and produce actionable insights for future events
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in event marketing, campaign management, or brand strategy
- Proven track record marketing large-scale sports or entertainment events
- Experience in go-to-market strategy development and implementation
- CRM/EDM program management and fan database marketing experience
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret marketing performance data
Ideal Candidate:
- Background in sports, entertainment, or live events (highly desirable)
- Experience in the Australian sports industry or similar markets
- Creative thinker who can develop innovative campaigns using data-driven insights
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy, and traditional advertising
