About The Role:
We’re looking for a Fintech Operations Manager to own and scale our payments and fraud operations. You’ll lead our operational teams based in the Philippines, critical workflows, optimise execution, and deliver results through automation and continuous improvement.
This role is for a proven operator — someone who gets things done, thrives in high-growth environments, and has a track record of transforming manual processes into streamlined, automated systems. Start-up experience and familiarity with fintech workflows are highly regarded.
You’ll manage two key areas:
- Payments Operations – overseeing payment flows, customer transactions, and reconciliation
- Fraud Operations – managing fraud processes in collaboration with risk and finance
You’ll work cross-functionally with engineers, risk, finance, and other customer support teams to ensure payment policies are executed efficiently and workflows scale with the business. This role requires ownership, pace, and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for payments and fraud workflows, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance
- Own delivery metrics and KPIs across payments, refunds, and fraud
- Optimise workflows in our ticketing system (Front), including automation and configuration
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve process efficiency, accuracy, and scale
- Operationalise payment policies in collaboration with risk and finance teams
Key Competencies
- Proven leadership in fintech or payments operations is essential, with experience in startup or scale-up environments highly regarded
- Experience leading other operations leaders, with a proven track record of driving delivery against SLAs and KPIs through effective team accountability
- Strong execution skills — you get things done and bring others with you
- Demonstrated experience turning manual processes into scalable, automated systems
- Skilled in configuring operational workflows and process automations in platforms like Front, Zendesk, or similar platforms
- Operational thinker with the ability to adapt quickly, manage complexity, and solve problems
- Collaborative operator who can influence across risk, finance, and CX teams
- Experience with offshore operational leadership is highly regarded
