What You Will Be Doing In This Role

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our state-of-the-art 30-bed Intensive Care Unit, with full-time, part-time, and casual positions available. In this specialised environment, you’ll care for critically ill patients requiring advanced acute care, working as part of a close-knit team of highly skilled professionals dedicated to meeting every aspect of patient needs.

You’ll be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), and Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), who are committed to helping you expand your skills and continue your professional development.

Our ICU is a fast-paced unit that handles a wide range of complex cases, supporting a busy Emergency Department, 19 Operating Theatres, and both Surgical and Medical wards. Shifts are 12 hours on a rotating roster, with no on-call or after-hours requirements, and 24/7 medical support is always available. While ICU experience is highly regarded, we welcome applicants who are eager to learn, and we are committed to providing the necessary training and upskilling for the right candidates.

Who We’re Looking For

  • You’ll have current AHPRA registration as an RN with a minimum of 3 years post registration experience within a critical care setting.
  • You’ll have a background in ICU (desirable) but we are open to seeing applications from candidates that have surgical or cardiac experience.
  • You’ll have strong time management skills and experience working within a fast-paced environment
  • You’ll have demonstrated an elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.
  • You’ll be an exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience in professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues.
  • You’ll be available to work a full-time rotating roster of 12 hour shifts.
  • You’ll have full Australian working rights, as we unfortunately do not offer visa sponsorship.
