MADEC Australia is a successful community owned not-for-profit organisation with a proud 50+ year history of providing relief to people experiencing poverty and/or distress. Employing around 180 staff across the country, MADEC delivers employment services, education and training, a pacific labour mobility scheme, and indigenous programs. This national role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and leads MADEC’s registered training organisation (RTO) business driving strategic initiatives and overseeing day-to-day education operations within the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
Key responsibilities of this pivotal role include:
- developing and implementing the national RTO strategic direction for educational delivery, assessment and support services;
- leading and coordinating the daily operations of course delivery, marking and student support;
- identifying and developing new business opportunities focusing on client outcomes and challenging thinking;
- driving business growth by establishing industry networks and education partnerships;
- overseeing the development and review of course materials and assessments;
- leading internal audit and continuous improvement processes;
- ensuring compliance with vocational training standards and RTO policies;
- leading, managing, motivating and developing a geographically dispersed vocational education team.

Whilst MADEC’s head office is located in Mildura, there is flexibility for the right candidate, to be based out of any other branch office across the country in this national role.
