As a key member of the Microgrid team, you’ll report directly to the Microgrid Line of Business and work closely with country operations. You’ll be the go-to expert for designing and delivering EcoStruxure Microgrid solutions across the Pacific region.

Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our business—collaborating with customers, sales, and services teams to identify opportunities uniquely addressed by our market-leading solutions. You’ll design tailored microgrid architectures and present them through engaging demonstrations and detailed technical proposals. Your domain expertise, product knowledge, and relationship-building skills will be key to your success and recognition within our growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
Country Enablement & Training
- Deliver “train-the-trainer” sessions from the Line of Business.
- Equip tender managers and engineers with the knowledge and tools to succeed.
- Onboard and support new Microgrid EcoXperts.
Solution Architecture & Sales Support
- Collaborate with sales teams, customers, and consultants to recommend optimal microgrid architectures and use cases.
- Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals.
- Leverage standard solutions and assess the need for custom engineering.
- Participate in peer reviews and proposal approvals.
Project Handover & Execution Support
- Lead or support project kick-off meetings.
- Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to execution teams.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the implementation phase.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
- Passion for energy transition, decarbonisation, and emerging technologies.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical pre-sales, tendering, or solution design.
- Strong background in automation platforms (e.g., EPAS, Machine Expert).
- Solid understanding of LV/MV electrical distribution and off-grid systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Team-oriented, results-driven, and resilient under pressure.
Desirable:
- Experience with EcoStruxure Microgrid Operation & Advisor.
- Deep understanding of microgrid use cases and architectures.
- Familiarity with containerised BESS solutions.
- Knowledge of utility markets, tariffs, and incentive schemes.
- Experience with energy modelling (e.g., solar PV, BESS).
