Contract type: Full time

We specialise in building workplaces, covering fitouts and refurbishments in prime CBD locations. Work with us to transform spaces into something more. Something better.
About Us
At MPA, our team of approachable experts is the kind that people love working with. Great at communicating and keeping people up to date every step of the way, we come to every project with an open mind, a good dose of curiosity and a genuine passion for perfecting even the smallest of details. In short, we live and breathe what we do. It means we're a close-knit community in every sense—one that works together, cares for each other and has fun along the way.
For over 25 years, we've been committed to turning big ambitions into reality. Today, our team of over 150 people specialise in building innovative, progressive workplaces. We focus on transforming work into something more, encompassing the entire ecosystem of modern work. Our work extends beyond commercial spaces to include health, wellness, retail, hospitality, and education. As an award-winning workplace specialist, our projects include small interior enhancement to large-scale, high-end multi-million-dollar projects.
With a growing team and an exciting line-up of projects coming up, we are looking for an experienced Estimator to join the MPA team.
About The Role
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will join a high performing team who are integral to our success in winning landmark projects. You will support the tender process by ensuring submissions are accurately priced, transparent, and consistent with MPA's values.
To drive commercial outcomes, you will effectively source sub-contractors and suppliers with a high level of capability and compliance, leveraging your relationships to deliver the best possible budget outcome. You will review designs and plans at various stages of development and engage with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered with time, quality and cost outcomes to meet client requirements.
About You
You are a collaborative team player who projects confidence, credibility, and expertise, effectively simplifying complex information to suit the audience as required. You have 3+ years of estimating experience in the fit out and refurbishment sector pricing projects valued over $2 million.
A qualified professional, you hold a Bachelor in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. In this stakeholder-facing role, you have the ability to develop and manage strong relationships with the border MPA team at all levels as well as sub-contractors and suppliers.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, you are committed to developing positive and collaborative working relationships. You will ideally have experience using Cubit, Cubit Select, Procore or Estimate One to deliver cost estimates, and have had experience participating in estimating review and handover meetings.
