The Role

Are you a Sourcing Specialist professional looking for a step into the a fast pasted working environment? Join this large global leading company that is focused on providing to the once in a generation reform of the Department.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for mining consumables and fixed plant services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, category management, including market analysis, supplier identification, RFx development, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Drive supplier relationship management (SRM) initiatives to enhance supplier performance, ensure continuity of supply, and foster innovation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, maintenance, and finance to identify procurement opportunities and achieve cost reduction targets.
• Monitor and analyse market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier landscapes to inform sourcing strategies and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Manage procurement data analytics and reporting to track category performance, savings, and supplier KPIs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sourcing processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Support contract lifecycle management, ensuring supplier deliverables align with contractual terms and business needs.
