About Us
The Gotcha4Life Foundation is 8 years young and dedicated to inspiring and enabling people of all ages to take action to build mental fitness. Our programs give people the tools to build their mental fitness, which includes being able to speak more openly about their feelings and experiences, and identifying a person, or people in their life they can reach out to when things get tough. The work we do is focused on taking action to spark and support new, healthier conversations about our mental fitness - ensuring that no one worries alone. Our ultimate vision? A world free of suicide, where no one worries alone.
We're a small and growing team on a big mission and we are looking for a Government Relations Specialist to join our team as we develop and scale. Founded by media personality and all-round legend Gus Worland, at Gotcha4Life you'll get to work on high-profile projects that drive impact, with an accomplished and connected team.
We have a hybrid approach to work that continues to evolve as we respond to what is best for our team and the people and communities we serve.
Currently, we come together as a team at our Sydney CBD office 2 days a week to connect and collaborate. On other days, our team works from either our office or from home – however it best works for them.
We are a small and passionate team, driven by the impact we make in communities.
About The Role
Gotcha4Life is seeking a part time Government Relations Specialist (2-3 days a week) to drive our advocacy to and engagement with government at state and federal levels. This role will be integral in positioning Gotcha4Life as a leader in preventative mental fitness and ensuring our programs are recognised and funded within health, education and other portfolios.
Working in our philanthropy team, you will implement our government engagement strategy to build and grow meaningful relationships with Ministers, policymakers, elected MPs and other stakeholder groups, identify funding opportunities and support the development of targeted and relevant communications. Your expertise will help Gotcha4Life secure sustainable government support for our initiatives and ensure our advocacy efforts for investment in preventative mental health align with evolving policy priorities.
