What you'll do
This role involves responsibility for the monthly close process, review and analysis of management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for Docusign entities in Australia, Singapore, Japan and India. It also involves responsibility for statutory accounting for the Singapore and India entities. Candidates should have experience of monthly close processes, preferably in a US-headquartered multinational, as well as a strong understanding of both US GAAP and IFRS. Experience of large company ERP systems such as NetSuite/Oracle/SAP would be beneficial. Attention to detail and the ability to deliver results under deadlines as well as working effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment is critical.
This position is an individua contributor role reporting to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibility
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

Responsibility
- Take responsibility for the month end close process and related journal entries for Docusign’s Australia, Singapore, Japan and India entities covering but not limited to; Accruals, Prepaids, Lease Accounting, Banks, Deferred Revenue, Contract Assets, Intercompany Accounting and Fixed Assets
- As part of the close process ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled in line with established reporting deadlines
- Carry out monthly flux analysis on the Australia, Singapore, Japan and India entity accounts
- Take responsibility for preparing annual statutory accounts for the Singapore and India entities and manage the statutory audit relationship with the auditors
- Support annual US GAAP audits and quarterly reviews

What you bring
Basic
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent practical experience
- Professional qualification in CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent
- 3+ years’ post-qualification financial accounting experience
- Experience with US GAAP and IFRS
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience in a multi-national company, preferably US Headquartered
- Exposure in working in a multi-currency environment
- Experience with Oracle or other large well-known ERP/accounting systems
- Experience in working cross-function
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
