The Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) group is part of the wider Eaton Electrical Group and contains the Crouse Hinds division which manufactures high grade electrical products for hazardous, industrial, and commercial applications world-wide. We are looking for a Regional Sales representative to drive and maintain new business opportunities for our full range of Crouse Hinds products across Victoria.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns.
  • Manage day-to-day sales activities of Crause-Hinds in Victoria and implement the sales strategy in Australia.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas.
  • Adapt procedures and initiatives to improve the overall performance of the Region.
  • Work closely with Business Managers in Mining and Industrial to develop customer–orientated products in application and solution.
  • Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility.
  • Coach customer’s sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization’s products and services.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales environment selling electrical equipment. Experience in Hazardous Area Equipment and/or industrial Lighting a bonus
  • Superb communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Industrial Electrical Applications and Hazardous experience preferred.
