About The Opportunity

Securecorp is excited to announce a great opportunity for motivated and experienced Team Leader of Control Room Operators.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor this is an integral position responsible for helping the Site Supervisor to lead a team of approximately twenty (20) Control Room Operators, acting as a key point of contact to ensure high standards of security and compliance are maintained and managing the day-to-day operations of the Broadmeadows site.

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Provide leadership to ensure consistent approach to client service and full compliance with SOPs Service and Delivery Assurance (auditing and reporting requirements).
• Maintain contact with clients regarding effective use of personnel to meet client needs and wants. Address any client issues in a timely and effective manner.
• help with interviews and hiring of new security officers. Identify and report training needs or issues required in maintaining a high standard of delivery by site team.
• Ensure the delivery of security and safety to the assigned site, it’s contractors and/or visitors, and the monitoring and coordination of an effective security presence, complimented by exemplary customer service.
• Perform general administrative duties such as database management, creating/maintaining spreadsheets, records keeping, report writing and other adhoc duties.
• Coordinate staff rosters, training sessions and drive continues improvement to contribute towards operational excellence.
• This is a Monday to Friday position but may require reasonable overtime, work nights, weekend and public holidays if required.
  
  

Key Selection Criteria

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Previous experience as a Team Leader or similar role minimum 2 years
• Have extensive experience in the control room and have the CRO license
• Knowledge across any of the following or similar software: Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and Passagepoint.
• Have strong administrative skills, computer competency and excellent email etiquette.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced team environment and experience with Fire-Panels.
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft suite.
• Hold a current Security Licence with a Control Room endorsement.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Valid Driver’s licence with transport.
• Willing to obtain National Police Check and ASIC clearance.
• Can work collaboratively in a team or independently.
