We’re looking for a Learning & Development Manager who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and make a real impact at a well known Australian brand - someone who blends strategic thinking with practical delivery, and knows how to connect learning with results.


You will lead the design and implementation of a leadership development framework that supports capability growth at all levels of leadership. You’ll also lead the development of frontline training programs for trades and retail staff; creating meaningful career pathways for a diverse national workforce.


This is a hands on role that would suit someone who thrives with a blend of design, development and delivery and can develop training programs for Senior Leadership through to blue collar operations.



The role:


  • Design and embed a leadership development framework suitable for executives through to middle managers in an operational environment.
  • Develop and deliver frontline training programs for trades, production and retail staff.
  • Create clear career pathways that support progression, organisational culture, and long-term retention.
  • Deliver high-impact learning experiences that are practical, engaging, and outcome-focused.
  • Partner with leaders to identify skills gaps and capability priorities.
  • Develop and implement train-the-trainer programs.
  • Work across multiple sites and teams, balancing strategic focus with day-to-day delivery.
  • Track and measure training effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.



About you:


  • Tertiary Qualifications in a Business/Learning and Development/Adult Education field.
  • Proven experience in the design and implementation of a leadership development framework.
  • Prior experience developing training programs and career pathways for frontline staff.
  • Enjoy flexing from strategy to delivery and comfortable in a standalone role.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with senior leaders and diverse teams across engineering, manufacturing, sales and retail.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Energy, enthusiasm and the drive to bring people on the journey and achieve outstanding results.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet business objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
