The Role
Are you ready to shape the future of our urban spaces? Join our National Urban Civil team working from Melbourne where we can guarantee that no two days are the same. Projects span from residential developments to education and healthcare (including the new Melton Hospital) to council infrastructure projects. You will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering projects that make a tangible contribution to our communities. This is the first Melbourne- based role in the Urban Civil team supporting the Buildings group. There will also be opportunity to support the Infrastructure Civil team which has a significant local presence.

The Role

About You
- 5+ years of experience,
- Experience owning and managing a diverse range of buildings related civil engineering projects from concept to completion,
- Preference for experience in institutional, health and defence related projects, such as hospitals and university campuses,
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, navigating varied environments with confidence,
- Navigate Development Approvals (DA), and other approvals required for building developments,
- Manage projects with precision, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards,
- Collaborate among a passionate team to create innovative solutions for urban challenges.
- Registered Professional Engineer Victoria, with Buildings endorsement,
- Proven expertise in stormwater design, levels grading and earthworks,
- Proficiency with relevant Australian Standards and Victorian Council Engineering requirements,
- Proficient in DRAINS, MUSIC & AutoCAD (12D would be advantageous but not essential),
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills,
- A results-driven mindset with an eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving,
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering,
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or progress towards achieving it (desirable).
