Are you passionate about driving technical excellence and innovation in frontend development? Do you enjoy leading talented engineers and collaborating closely with product and design teams to build exceptional web experiences? As a Technical Lead in our Frontend Foundations squad you’ll be helping shape the Domain website’s frontend capabilities.
As a Technical Lead, you’ll be instrumental in executing our company’s strategy by setting technical direction, standards, and best practices across the Product Delivery team. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Designers, and fellow engineers to ensure our software is innovative, high quality, and aligned with product goals.
What you’ll be doing
Driving technical excellence and innovation by setting and continuously improving engineering standards and best practices.
Leading delivery of scalable, high-quality frontend solutions aligned with product vision.
Managing technical risks, dependencies, and maintaining a healthy codebase within the tech debt budget.
Collaborating with Product, Design, and senior engineers to translate strategy into practical roadmaps and delivery plans.
Mentoring and coaching engineers to foster growth and elevate team performance.
Championing a culture of continuous improvement, including hands-on leadership through code reviews and key initiatives.
What we are looking for
Strong experience with GraphQL APIs, ideally in a federated graph environment.
Strong technical expertise in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React, and related frameworks and tooling.
Experience in AWS and C# is a plus.
Deep understanding of software delivery processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and performance optimisation.
Experience managing technical debt, system health, and ensuring scalability and maintainability of codebases.
Familiarity with cross-domain collaboration, architecture discussions, and solution design in complex environments.
