Shape the future with us.

Join one of Perth’s leading planning and design consultancies where you’ll do meaningful work, be backed by some of the best minds in the industry, and grow faster than you thought possible.

We’re looking for a talented Urban Planner to join TBB Planning at Associate level—someone who’s ready to take the lead on high-impact, future-focused projects and contribute to shaping places to deliver lasting outcomes.

Why TBB?

  • Work directly with public and private sector clients on projects that shape WA’s most dynamic urban and regional environments.
  • Collaborate with a close-knit team of bold thinkers, creative problem-solvers and passionate planners.
  • Define your own career path—with real opportunities, real support, and a culture that invests in YOU.
  • Present to panels, clients and stakeholders—we’ll help you build your voice and grow your confidence.
  • Make a meaningful impact—your work will help shape how people live, work, move and connect.

What you’ll do:

No two days are the same. You’ll be:

  • Masterplanning new growth communities and precincts across WA
  • Navigating complex approvals and unlocking development potential
  • Working across statutory and strategic planning, urban design, engagement and placemaking
  • Building strong relationships with clients, government agencies and co-consultants
  • Being mentored—and mentoring others. At TBB, learning and leadership go hand in hand.

What we’re looking for:

We’d love to hear from you if you’re:

  • Curious, collaborative and up for a challenge
  • Degree-qualified in Urban and Regional Planning
  • Experienced in statutory and/or strategic planning
  • Confident managing projects and building relationships
  • A strong communicator—written, verbal and visual

What you’ll get:

  • A tailored professional development plan and budget
  • Support through our Culture of Learning and mentorship from senior leaders
  • Flexible work options, competitive salary and performance-based incentives
  • A supportive, social team culture (with barista-style coffee, of course)
  • Milestone bonuses, a day off at Christmas, and opportunities to get involved in industry events and committees

You’ll be part of a team that genuinely values you—100% of our team said they feel valued in our latest survey.
