Your New Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced New Member Onboarding Experience Lead to join our Acquisition Value Stream. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and high-performing onboarding experience for new members. You will be the knowledge expert for new member experiences across all products and acquisition channels.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver a seamless and high-performing onboarding experience for new members.
  • Deeply understand member experiences and interactions to improve activation and engagement during the first 180 days of membership.
  • Recommend optimisations to enhance member experiences and outcomes across key new member journeys and transactions.
  • Execute and lead initiatives and enhancements through squad-based delivery.
  • Engage and activate new members at scale through multiple channels, including digital, service/advice, and employer and partner channels.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends for activation and onboarding of new customers.
  • Gather, analyse, and report insights and results to improve member retention outcomes.
  • Innovate to continually improve member retention outcomes.
  • Deliver strategy and propositions in an agile, squad-based environment.


How do you exceed our expectations?

  • Proven experience in delivering high-performing onboarding experiences.
  • Working Knowledge of Marketing and advertising technoology, including Customer Data Platforms and Analytics platforms.
  • Very strong knowledge of current and emerging marketing technology and journey / experience design.
  • Ten or more years of experience in Marketing / Digital Marketing / IT, preferably within financial services with demonstratable leadership responsibilities.
  • Five or more years experience in Lifecycle marketing or equivalent role, preferably within financial services.
  • Deep understanding of member experiences and interactions.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Agile expertise with the ability to deliver in a squad-based environment.
  • Broad understanding of the Superannuation industry.
  • You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
