About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate, people-focused, and results-driven Client Relations & Business Growth Coordinator to join our high-performing Client Relations & Business Growth Team at City-Wide Building & Training Services (CWBTS).

This isn’t just another job—it’s a chance to make a real impact in the building and construction industry. You’ll be the vital connection between apprentices, employers, and our training organisation—supporting a seamless journey from sign-up through to successful completion.

Why This Role is Perfect for You

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Thrives on building and managing strong, meaningful relationships
  • Loves being out and about on construction sites, connecting with real people
  • Has experience in apprenticeship networks, vocational training, or employment services (highly regarded)
  • Enjoys representing a brand and promoting the advantages of our training model
  • Values a flexible work-life balance while making a lasting impact (Minimum of 1-2 days per week in the office - Tweed Heads Head Office location)

What You’ll Focus On

Your work will centre around four key verticals:

1. Sign-Up Activities & Enrolment Follow-Up

Own the end-to-end apprenticeship sign-up process and ensure smooth onboarding.

Why It Matters:

This is the foundation of our business and the first impression for every new apprentice and employer.

You’ll be:

  • Driving new apprenticeship sign-ups
  • Following up on incomplete enrolments
  • Resolving any onboarding or paperwork delays
  • Supporting apprentices to get started confidently

2. ACAP Engagement Strategy

Build strong relationships with Apprenticeship Connect Australian Providers (ACAPs) to create a consistent flow of apprenticeship referrals.

Why It Matters:

ACAPs are a reliable pipeline of apprenticeship opportunities.

You’ll be:

  • Calling and catching up regularly with ACAP reps
  • Updating Profile Builder
  • Sharing digital campaigns and workshop invites
  • Hosting ACAPs at trade days and info sessions

3. Carpentry Business Engagement

Promote CWBTS as the training provider of choice for carpentry employers.

Why It Matters:

Carpentry is our core trade, and these businesses are key to apprenticeship growth.

You’ll be:

  • Visiting sites and calling local employers
  • Building rapport and highlighting training solutions
  • Sharing trainer profiles and success stories
  • Tailoring support to meet business needs

4. Existing Employer Engagement

Deepen relationships with our current employer partners to drive retention, repeat business, and referrals.

Why It Matters:

Trust leads to long-term partnerships and continued growth.

You’ll be:

  • Conducting regular check-ins via calls, texts, and site visits
  • Supporting employers in their apprenticeship journey
  • Encouraging employers to refer new businesses to BAA
  • Leveraging success stories as a growth tool

About You

You’re a natural connector who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys seeing others succeed. You love the energy of a construction site just as much as building strategic partnerships.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Experience as a Field Consultant, Apprenticeship Network Provider, or in the training/apprenticeship sector
  • A strong understanding of apprenticeship systems and vocational education (VET) frameworks
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Confidence working with employers and apprentices across diverse environments
  • Exceptional organisational and follow-up skills
  • A passion for supporting people in their career development
