We are seeking a highly adaptable and flexible Client Compliance Officer to join our team based in Wollongong or Sydney. This is a flexible hybrid role.

Applying your experience in superannuation scheme administration you will work with internal and external clients in ensuring the fulfilment of our statutory and contractual obligations under our superannuation agreements.

Client Compliance Officer

We will count on you to:


  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to the superannuation (and financial services) industry, proactively managing the impact of changes with internal and external clients
  • Communicate with Trustee representatives, Actuaries, Regulators (ASIC, ATO, APRA, AUSTRAC and/or AFCA), legal and other staff, regarding legislation and policy issues that impact compliance requirements for clients
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide input and sign-off on the technical accuracy of a range of documents and member communications
  • Monitor operational areas performance against specific requirements including breach reporting and ongoing input into rectification/remediation plans
  • Provide technical responses to a range of internal and external clients, regarding the compliant administration of each superannuation scheme under administration.


What you need to have:

  • Extensive experience working in the superannuation industry with experience in interpreting complex legislation
  • Advanced knowledge of scheme, tax and any other relevant superannuation scheme legislation and scheme policies
  • Experience in communicating and explaining complex issues and information to stakeholders
  • Currently hold RG146 certification and/or capacity to attain and retain on a continuing basis.
