Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Recruitment Officer located in Toowoomba, QLD. The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising vacancies, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment experience.


Tasks

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with industry trends and client needs
  • Conduct Reference Checks
  • Carrying Police Checks
  • Liaising with Injury and Wellness Coordinator to arrange pre employment medicals
  • Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers to assess candidate suitability and support recruitment planning
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure a professional and positive candidate experience
  • Oversee onboarding and induction processes, ensuring all required documentation and training is completed


Qualifications

  • Proven blue collar or high-volume recruitment experience preferably within oil & gas mining, construction or engineering
  • Confident stakeholder engagement with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Sound knowledge of employment laws, Equal Employment Opportunity and recruitment best practices
  • Ability to coach and influence hiring managers
  • Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation
  • Knowledge of HR software and recruitment tools is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, desirable but not essential
