High Voltage Operators

We’re on the lookout for licensed electricians with proven high voltage switching experience to join our growing teams. Whether you’re from a utility background or industrial HV operations, if you’ve got the skills and the right attitude, we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking A-Grade Electricians with hands-on HV experience in coordinated switching, permit issuing, and access control. You’ll work across high-profile projects within either our Construction or Powerline divisions.

Requirements

• A-Grade Electrical Licence
• HV Switching Training (completed through a recognised RTO preferred)
• Practical experience on HV systems within:
• Utility networks (Powercor, AusNet, UE, etc.)
• Private HV infrastructure (data centres, solar farms, industrial users)
  

You’ll Be Confident With

• Coordinated HV switching and planning
• Issuing and managing access permits
• Racking breakers and isolating systems
• Applying access controls and LOTO procedures
  
  

Rates & Classification

• $67.27/hr (Construction)
• $65.37/hr (Powerline)
• Plus penalties, travel, and site allowances
• Full-time, long-term opportunities

We also offer access to formal upskilling through the Advanced Diploma of ESI – Power Systems (UET60222). This is ideal for HV professionals looking to move into more technical or supervisory roles.
