Your New Role
Reporting to the Head of Workplace Partnerships, the Senior Manager - Partnerships role is primarily responsible for ensuring their portfolio of Victorian and Tasmanian businesses and stakeholders effectively contribute to the Fund's sustainable growth objectives.
Leading a team of Partnership Managers, you will be primarily responsible for increasing density of members through partnerships, strengthening partner satisfaction through proactive and value-added engagement/service, including facilitating engagement and education of members through workplaces, unions and associations.
Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Retaining or achieving default status with businesses
- Regularly reviewing and adjusting the portfolio to align with potential growth opportunities.
- Oversee and strategically rebalance the partner portfolio to maximise value from engagement, while ensuring sufficient capacity to onboard new partners in alignment with business growth.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of business plans for the region, ensuring growth is achieved within cost parameters and impact is measurable and reportable.
- Manage a small portfolio of Partner Relationships (up to 20% of work effort)
- Act as an escalation point for any partnership within the region where there are challenges or opportunities relating to the partnership
- Manage the negotiation of commercial and contractual relationships relating to the establishment of new partnerships and initiatives, and ensure contracts are executed according to the agreement
- Build and develop a high performing, diverse and engaged team who are committed to the successful delivery of the Fund's strategic ambitions
What You'll Need
- Strong experience in a similar or relevant role, ideally within superannuation.
- Excellent relationship skills, proven ability to initiate, maintain and manage relationships to gain cooperation and meet timelines
- Solid business development skills
- Well developed, written and verbal communication skills including proven experience in dealing with confidential or sensitive issues and ability to develop and maintain rapport across all organisational levels
- Understanding of compliance infrastructure and its application
- Deep product understanding of superannuation
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, particular in situations where a partnership may be at risk
- Demonstrated people leadership skills and an ability to lead diverse and dispersed teams to achieve objectives
- RG146 accreditation or willingness to obtain
