Accounts Receivable Officer | Permanent

Position Description

You will work alongside like-minded team members who are passionate about their business' brand and customer base, whereby a positive attitude is key to success! You will have a strong desire to ensure all accounts receivable functions are completed effectively and efficiently to a high standard. Your duties will include the following:

• Reminders and follow up of overdue accounts as required
• Reconciliation of the accounts
• Communicating with internal customers via telephone, electronically or in person in relation to product or service enquiries
• Attending to credits and re-invoicing of clients for any previous errors
• Set up new customers and accounts
• Allocation and receipting of payments
• Ad hoc tasks as required
  
  

Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will have the following skills & attributes:

• Proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role
• High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
• Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
• High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Keen desire to grow and develop your career in Accounts Receivable
