Transaction Manager
Job Description Summary
As a Transaction Manager at Cushman & Wakefield, you will be a negotiation expert in commercial real estate, specialising in office, retail, and industrial assets. You will collaborate closely with clients, landlords, and Transaction Managers to secure favorable lease agreements while supporting the Integrated Portfolio Management – Transaction Management service line.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research based on client briefs.
- Manage RFP/EOI processes as required.
- Oversee site inspections and client reviews.
- Negotiate lease terms to finalize Heads of Agreement and documentation.
- Ensure lease data is accurately updated and communicated to relevant teams.
- Analyze market evidence and present alternative leasing options when necessary.
- Collaborate with Transaction Managers and Integrated Workplace Solutions.
- Lead site inspections and exercise lease options post-client approval.
- Oversee make-good scope assessments and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Facilities Management and Projects teams for quotes and approvals.
- Manage site terminations and lease administration updates.
- Engage with owners, lessors, and managing agents to initiate enquiries.
- Secure client instructions, appoint agents, and implement marketing strategies.
- Negotiate and finalize transactions in alignment with client directives.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate leasing.
- Proven track record in lease negotiations and property transactions.
- Strong market knowledge within the Melbourne area.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Tertiary qualification in real estate or business-related discipline preferred.
- Real Estate Agent License or equivalent (as per state legislation).
