THE ROLE

Skilled Medical is seeking an experienced senior medical recruitment consultant with a proven track record in health and medical recruitment to join our team in Melbourne. Applicants will be experienced health and medical recruiters with a strong working knowledge of levels and specialties of medical staff, compliance requirements, comprehensive client and market knowledge and extensive placement experience. 

You will work in one of our dedicated teams placing doctors in locum, contract and locum to permanent roles across Australia.

THE PERSON

Applicants should have three or more years of experience in medical and health recruitment. Starting with a warm desk and extensive database you will build up and manage a pool of doctors and coordinate with client health services to make medical placements. You must be proactive, professional, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be well organised to fulfill this role.

Working in your team, you will have leadership and mentoring skills and the ability to support other staff in their roles.

2.SENIOR NURSING RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT - MELBOURNE

• Senior Nursing Recruitment Consultant roles in leading firm

• Circa 80-90K salary pa plus bonus

You will also be a great team member who is available to support and mentor others, sharing your work ethic, knowledge and skills.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

• Extensive experience in nursing and midwifery recruitment at an agency or health service setting.
• Commercial skills in being able to close assignments and manage a nursing or midwifery placement from intake, credentialling, placement and invoicing, while assisting candidates and clients every step of the way.
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a dedicated work ethic.
• Exceptional communication skills and confidence in communicating with nurses and midwives, and with health service clients.
• Professional presentation - in the office and always ready to liaise with candidates and clients.
• Time management skills with the ability to manage successfully competing priorities.
• The ability to develop and maintain trusting long-term relationships with candidates and clients.
• A solutions-based and hands on approach with the focus to getting the job done to a complete and high standard.

IN THE ROLE YOU WILL BE:

• Working with our established candidate and client base, placing nurses and midwives in temp/locum, contract, and permanent roles across Australia.
• Liaising with nurses, midwives, and client health services.
• Sourcing candidates and vacancies, and helping to get candidates placement ready.
• Using our in-house technology platform and placement management system to manage your work and placements.
• Working with your team members to get the most productive outcomes.
