What this opportunity involves:

As a Property Manager, you will achieve high levels of ongoing client satisfaction and effectively manage a portfolio of buildings in the CBD and city fringe based from our incredible head office at Central Plaza.

We’ll expect you actively manage the sites, support the wider team when needed and trouble shoot when required, offering proactive and innovative solutions.

A snapshot of the day-to-day responsibilities:

  • In consultation with our Head of Commercial Management, meet and exceed your portfolio and client's expectations
  • Build strong relationships with tenants and drive tenant retention
  • Provide strategic and operational management of the properties together with the associated team and provide a high level of service delivery to clients as well as demonstrate your ability to enhance our value-add capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Facilities Manager as required for any property and facility related issue
  • Ensure all obligations are met under the lease &/or terms of ownership/ occupancy
  • Actively liaise with tenants on renewal opportunities
  • Manage all critical dates for tenants including rent reviews, option dates, bank guarantees, public liability insurances
  • Reporting to the clients, including financial reporting, budgeting etc.
  • Advise the owner of any major risks, workplace health and safety issues
  • Ensure tenants are meeting their rental payments under the lease, chase any arrears and provide recommendations to the client on any solutions

Before you apply it’s also worth knowing what we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial or Retail Property Manager, (holding a Qld Sales Certificate, essential), with sound financial acumen, and a commitment to flawless execution will see you thrive in this role.
  • You'll have superior communication with the ability to build and foster successful relationships with your clients and stakeholders.
  • We'll expect you to also have great time management and organisational skills with the capacity to think strategically and solve problems effectively.
  • Teamwork is a vital aspect of our brand, and you will need to value this as well, you’re energetic and love letting your personality show through with a “I won’t give up” attitude, determined to achieve only the very best outcomes.
