About This Role

On behalf of Woodside, we are currently recruiting for a Subsea Installation Engineer to join their team in their Perth office. This is a 12 month contract opportuntiy that will require ad hoc travel to offshore assets.

  • Drive HSEQ performance in engineering and installation program. Maintain safety and integrity management throughout delivery of scope.
  • Technical delivery of system installation scope including water injection manifold and associated subsea hardware. Management of engineering, procurement, construction, transportation, mobilisation, installation through contract delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with IMF process including all assurance activities.
  • Manage tender process for installation contractor including preparation of installation scopes of work for tendering, assist in compiling ITT package, and contract negotiations and award.
  • Manage and communicate project risks, costs and schedule. Manage any project change including compliance with Management of Change process. + Drive interfaces with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (Installation Contractor, Hardware Vendor, Engineering Consultants etc).
  • Responsible for ensuring 3rd party verification of Contractor engineering.
  • Management of vessel audits and assurance activities. + Drive consistency and continuous improvement in ways of working.
  • Support to project multi discipline teams to deliver scopes to ensure a safe to operate and reliable system is designed, supplied and installed.


Requirements

  • Degree qualified engineer with at least 10 years experience in subsea system engineering and installation.
  • Specific experience in detailed installation engineering in a client representative position.
  • Specific experience in installation of both reeled rigid flowlines and flexible flowlines is an advantage.
  • Applicants require strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
