Project Lead

We’re partnered with a forward-thinking organisation that’s in the midst of an exciting transformation - and they’re looking for a strong, technically minded Project Lead to steer the delivery of a complex payroll integration.

This is a business that’s modernising how it operates across people, process, and technology. With that transformation comes complexity—and a need for someone who can bring structure, clarity, and momentum across technical delivery.

The payroll integration is a key part of a broader digital uplift, with multiple systems, legacy applications, and a range of internal and external stakeholders involved. Our client needs someone who not only understands the technical nuts and bolts of system and data integration, but who can confidently guide the conversation, make decisions, and solve problems in real time.

You’ll be the person who connects the dots.

Whether it’s aligning vendors and SMEs, tracking data dependencies, or troubleshooting system interactions, you’ll lead the charge with confidence and composure. Your background might be in data, technical delivery, or system integration—but it’s your ability to lead, influence, and deliver that will set you apart.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the technical delivery of a major payroll integration as part of a broader transformation program
• Facilitating collaboration across internal teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors
• Mapping and analysing data flows across multiple systems, identifying integration points and resolving disconnects
• Coordinating technical tasks, tracking milestones, and escalating issues with solutions in mind
• Acting as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring delivery is fit-for-purpose and aligned to business needs

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Proven experience in technical project leadership, systems integration, or data roles
• Familiarity with payroll, HR, or ERP platforms and their technical interfaces
• A practical understanding of data transformation and complex application environments
• The ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders, from SMEs to solution vendors
• A hands-on, delivery-first mindset—you’re a self-starter who gets things done without waiting for instructions
