What will you do?

As our new Senior Consultant within the Risk and Resilience team – a core pilar of Aurecon Sustainability Climate Change and Risk (SCCR) capability, you will initially be providing risk management services to key clients within the Water sector. In this role you’ll work with a team providing strategic and operational risk management services and advice around asset management strategies and infrastructure investment decisions. With this you will play an integral role in one of the largest and most complex capital programs in South Australia managing the delivery of critical water assets.

Here Are The Key Things You’ll Do

  • Create required Excel based project and package level registers to capture risk data
  • Work with Project Managers to plan and coordinate meetings to record and update project and package risk data
  • Support and contribute to risk analysis workshops held (face to face and online) with project teams
  • Provide training and guidance to Project Managers on using risk management supporting technology and tools
  • Ensure project and package risk data is up to date and accurately recorded in Power BI Risk Intelligence Dashboards
  • Prepare requested project, package and program level risk reporting based on available data
  • Provide support to the Risk Lead to complete program level activities
  • Ensure project, package and program, level risk documentation is stored in the required locations
  • Maintain an up-to-date schedules of Risk Team activities, including required ‘refreshers’, work in progress and improvement actions

In addition, you will be part of a National Aurecon Risk & Resilience team providing services across the Resources, Energy, Defence and Transport sectors around Australia.

Alongside your industry experience in similar management consulting, engineering consulting, or equivalent roles, you’ll also have:

  • Strong risk management and/or engineering experience (with related qualifications).
  • Proven experience in infrastructure risk management, ideally including water projects.
  • Workshop facilitation and presentation experience, with strong communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and reporting skills, with a growth mindset.
