Design & Build Recruitment is searching for an experienced and motivated Senior Contracts Administrator to join a well-respected, national Tier 2 Construction company based in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will work within an established team on commercial new build projects valued in excess of $100M. If you have a passion and proven ability in Contracts Administration and love the Commercial construction industry, this role and company is for you.

Role Overview

As a Senior Contracts Administrator with our client, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of their projects. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of contracts administration, including:

  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
  • Monitoring contract performance, variations, and claims to ensure timely resolution and minimize risks.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of contract management processes and procedures.
  • Mentoring and coaching Junior Contracts Administrators

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you will ideally possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator in the commercial construction industry.
  • Brisbane based.
  • Work closely and collaborative with your Project Manager
  • Sound knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Cheops, Payapps, Hammertech…)
