Overview Of Our Role

Join our supportive and forward-thinking Fleet & Plant leadership team as the Fleet & Plant Governance Team Lead. In this leadership role, you’ll guide a team of dedicated specialists responsible for the governance of the Group’s owned, leased, and short-term hired fleet, plant, and equipment.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys building strong partnerships, is passionate about people leadership, and is motivated by making a meaningful impact through effective governance and continuous improvement.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead the delivery of clear and practical governance programs and frameworks that align with our enterprise strategy, internal policies, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure our fleet, plant and equipment are compliant with industry, legislative, and Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards.
  • Empower and support your team’s performance, growth and development by fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment that celebrates success and encourages learning.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of fleet and plant strategies that are practical, future-focused, value-driven and effectively manage risk.
  • Maintain high data quality and use insights and key metrics to inform strategy and support executive decision-making.
  • Monitor asset performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budget efficiency initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships and work closely with stakeholders to provide trusted advice and ensure our work aligns with their evolving needs.

  • Comfortable working with data and using advanced Excel skills to uncover patterns, support decision-making, and continuously improve processes.

  • Organised and reliable, with a calm and considered approach to managing time and shifting priorities.
  • Proactive and committed, with a genuine interest in contributing to team goals and organisational success.

  • Confident using digital systems such as FMS and SAP to support day-to-day tasks and contribute to business insights.
