Senior Data Migration Project Manager-

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Project Manager to lead and deliver a critical data migration project as part of a short-term engagement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing complex data migration programs, with a strong preference for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) environments.

This role requires a highly organised, delivery-focused individual who can collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure smooth transition of data from legacy systems to the new platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of the data migration project.
• Work closely with technical teams, business SMEs, and stakeholders to define migration scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Oversee data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, risk registers, and issue logs.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance throughout the migration process.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate cutover and post-migration validation activities.
• Support business readiness and user acceptance activities.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of project management experience, with a focus on data migration.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end data migration projects.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data quality management.
• Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills.
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable:

• Previous experience delivering data migration for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) projects.
• Familiarity with government or enterprise data standards and compliance requirements.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile delivery certifications.
