About the role

Leadership: The Manager for this role is  Andor Varga. Andor is based in Perth and leads Data and AI for Perth and Adelaide. Andor will be committed to providing ongoing development opportunities to help you reach your full potential. As a member of our Data & AI team, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters growth, innovation, knowledge sharing and creativity.  

As a Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, building and implementing Microsoft solutions to meet our client’s technology and business needs. The consultant is a subject matter expert who will be engaged in delivery of solutions for our valued clients and who also provides specialist IP support to sales and services teammates. Along the way, you will get to:

• Work with the team lead to formulate a plan to achieve outcomes.
• Supports identification of business and technical requirements.
• Implements technologies and solutions based on designs.
• Codes, fixes, and document simple systems and system enhancements from supplied requirements, using agreed standards and tools.
• Participates in activities such as stand-up meetings and reviews.
• Helps to develop technology solutions while ensuring a personal specialisation in one or more IT technologies.

What we’re looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience building and implementing Microsoft Azure Data Services
• Ability to read and understand standard design documents for simple solutions.
• Able to follow prescribed technical quality standards and practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate both technical and abstract concepts in a clear and concise manner a must.
• Ability to interface effectively with client executives in a professional and business-like manner is a must.
