The Procurement and Sourcing Lead is responsible for the procurement and sourcing to meet the client deliverables of Local Contractors, as required to meet the demand for Proactive and Reactive Maintenance services.

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Procurement Lead to join our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) team. This position will support operations across Western Sydney and the Hunter/Central Coast regions.
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding local contractors to provide both proactive and reactive maintenance services that meet client requirements.
You will lead the development and execution of procurement strategies, manage sourcing events, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and community participation objectives. This includes supporting targets for Aboriginal participation, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and local involvement, as well as commitments to workforce development.
You will also oversee supplier relationship management, contract implementation, and maintain high standards of probity and reporting. This is a casual job share position, requiring 22.8 hours of work per week over three days. You will report to the Account Manager and have one direct report.

About You
You are a confident and capable procurement professional with:
- At least 5 years of experience in services procurement, ideally within property or facilities services.
- A strong operational mindset with the ability to deliver practical, cost-effective sourcing solutions.
- Proven experience managing sourcing events and delivering high-quality procurement advice.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract law.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships with small to medium enterprises.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High levels of initiative and the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
- Strong MS Office skills and exceptional presentation and communication abilities.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business or a related field (preferred).
