Technical Skills

• Programming Proficiency: Strong skills in Python
• Cloud AI Services: Deep familiarity with one of the Cloud AI offerings, i.e. Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio), and related SDKs for deploying and managing LLMs, RAG pipelines, and conversational agents.
• RAG System Development: Understanding of RAG architectures, including how to combine LLMs with external knowledge sources, vector databases, and search APIs to ground responses in enterprise content.
• AI Agent Frameworks: Experience or willingness to learn frameworks for building autonomous AI agents (e.g., MCP, A2A, LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or Microsoft's Copilot stack).
• Prompt Engineering: Ability to design, test, and optimize prompts for LLMs and agent workflows to achieve accurate, context-aware outputs.
• API Integration: Skills in integrating third-party APIs and orchestrating workflows between LLMs, search/retrieval systems, and external services.
  
  

Consulting & Solutioning Skills

• Solution Design: Ability to translate business requirements into RAG/AI agent architectures and articulate the value of these solutions to clients.
• Client Communication: Strong verbal and written communication for explaining technical AI agent concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Effective teamwork with other engineers, product owners, and business consultants in agile environments.
• Testing & Evaluation: Skills in evaluating agent behaviour, measuring performance, and iterating on solutions to ensure reliability and safety.
  
  

Continuous Learning

• AI Trends: Commitment to staying current with advances in LLMs, agent frameworks, and RAG techniques.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• A graduated with a relevant degree (Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field).
• Must have valid permanent working rights in Australia.
