Job Description
We’re looking for a strategic, people-driven, and commercially astute leader to join our team as Head of PMO. You’ll play a pivotal role in maturing the Project Management Office at Logicalis Australia, taking full ownership of its P&L and guiding over $30M in annual project revenue.
Your primary mandate will be to enforce and uplift our project delivery framework, driving exceptional project hygiene with a sharp focus on enhancing customer satisfaction (CSAT) and profitability.
This role will partner closely with senior leaders across sales, delivery, technology, and operations – acting as the central heartbeat of our project ecosystem. Your leadership will uplift project capability, improve transparency, and help ensure our transformation agenda lands real, measurable impact.

What You’ll Do
PMO Leadership & Strategy
- Establish and evolve the Logicalis Australia PMO function – building fit-for-purpose frameworks, capability, and governance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop an existing, high-performing team of 13 Project Managers and Coordinators, with the mandate to grow the team's capabilities and size.
- Take full ownership of the PMO P&L, partnering closely with the Technical Services Director to manage and optimise the overall Technical Services P&L.
- Partner with executive and functional leadership to align PMO priorities with business strategy.
- Champion a culture of growth and excellence within the team through structured mentoring, coaching, and formal training opportunities.
- Manage the end-to-end project and programme lifecycle – from ideation and business case through to benefits realisation.
- Act as a key business partner in the pre-sales cycle, providing a strong voice and strategic input to ensure new projects are scoped, resourced, and priced for successful and profitable delivery.
- Implement effective prioritisation, planning, and risk management practices across all active projects.
- Provide executive-ready portfolio insights, status reporting, and delivery dashboards.
- Define and embed Logicalis Australia’s delivery methodology – balancing Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches as needed.
- Drive the consistent application of delivery policies and project hygiene to elevate performance across the portfolio.
- Conduct project health checks, post-implementation reviews, and lessons learned to continually raise the bar on delivery standards.
- Drive proactive stakeholder engagement and enablement across internal and external projects.
- Uplift project and change management maturity across the business – coaching delivery teams and senior stakeholders.
- Support the development of business case frameworks, resource planning models, and benefits tracking mechanisms.
- Optimise PMO tools and reporting systems (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, Workday Project Financials).
Your performance and impact will be measured by your ability to drive tangible improvements across key business metrics, including:
- Customer Satisfaction (CSAT Scores)
- Team Engagement (Peakon Scores)
- Commercial Performance (Profitability & Margin Metrics)
- Operational Efficiency (Technical Services Team Utilisation)
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience leading a PMO or large-scale project delivery function in a professional services or technology-driven environment, ideally with P&L ownership or significant commercial responsibility.
- Strong understanding of portfolio governance, delivery methodologies, and enterprise change management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage at all levels – from C-level to project teams.
- Deep experience with project financials, resource planning, and reporting tools.
- Comfort navigating complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related field.
- Project or programme management certification highly regarded (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, AgilePM, SAFe).
