The Project
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and driven Project Engineer – Ventilation (Fluids) to join our delivery team on a major Water Treatment Plant (WTP) project. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, coordination, and delivery of ventilation and fluid systems across the project, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

The Role
We are seeking a skilled and driven Project Engineer – Ventilation (Fluids) to join our delivery team on a major Water Treatment Plant (WTP) project. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, coordination, and delivery of ventilation and fluid systems across the project, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Role And Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, review, and implementation of ventilation and fluid flow systems within water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Liaise with mechanical designers, consultants, and construction teams to ensure alignment across all services.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and method statements.
- Ensure fluid systems comply with project standards, codes, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate procurement, installation, and commissioning of ventilation equipment.
- Monitor progress, resolve engineering issues, and support project delivery timelines.
- Maintain strong safety and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical systems, with a focus on fluids or ventilation preferred.
- Experience on WTPs or similar infrastructure projects highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of ventilation, pipework, and pump systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or hydraulic modelling tools is a plus).
