We are seeking dynamic individuals for the role of Barista + Food Safety & RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Trainer at our Hobart Campus. This position can be part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate’s availability.
Role Overview
As a Trainer, your role is pivotal in enhancing the student learning experience. You will deliver and assess high-quality, compliant, and engaging training that aligns with RGIT’s policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, as well as regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver barista training sessions that are practical, interactive, and aligned with industry standards.
– Provide one-on-one and group instruction to students.
– Teach the fundamentals of coffee preparation, machine operation, and customer service.
– Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback.
– Maintain accurate records of training and assessments.
– Stay updated with the latest coffee trends and techniques.
What We’re Looking For
– Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
– Certification and extensive experience in Barista skills, Food Safety, and RSA training.
– Strong knowledge of hospitality industry standards and compliance requirements.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
– A passion for teaching and empowering students with real-world skills.
– Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs.
