We Are Currently Looking For a

Raging Waters Sydney - Park Safety Officer

About The Role

Support the Director of Operations with the development, implementation and maintenance of the park

Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management system to meet the requirements of applicable

Parques Reunidos HSE standards and federal, state, and local requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Incorporate Parques Reunidos HSE standards and local legal HSE requirements into park

procedures and training at primary and assigned ancillary parks.

  • Assist the Director of Operations with conducting proactive risk assessments to identify and

minimize potential risks in all aspects of park operations.

  • Assist the Director of Operations when performing self-audits and inspections to verify

compliance with HSE standards, procedures and applicable local HSE regulations.

  • Assist the Director of Operations with ensuring equipment, including maintenance equipment,

amusement devices, attractions, and rides meet applicable industry standards, as defined by

local regulations, applicable ASTM and Parques Reunidos standards at primary and assigned

ancillary parks.

  • Conduct investigations for both guest and employee HSE related incidents.
  • Prepare and enter incident reports into the incident reporting and management system.
  • Assist the Director of Operations with developing corrective and preventive actions to address

incidents.

  • Assist the Director of Operations with the timely and accurate completion of Parques Reunidos

Sustainability Reports for assigned and ancillary parks.

Education

Team member benefits:

  • Minimum of 2-years of University or Technical School education or diploma in Safety Management,

Occupational Health and Safety Sciences, or related technical field is preferred. Equivalent safety

management experience may be considered.

Languages

  • English

Computer Skills

  • Working experience with Microsoft Office

Experience

  • Previous work experience in the amusement or leisure industry is preferred.
