My client is a Local Government Department Business Intelligence & Workflow Developer. This role will focus on building and automating enterprise-level dashboards, reports, and workflow solutions while integrating within their existing IT environment.
The successful incumbent will be a self starter who can run with broad requirements and help the organisation reach its goals around data driven decisions. The role will be supported by in house BAs and other team members.

Role Accountabilities
- Design, build, and maintain applications, websites, dashboards, reports, and analytics using existing and potentially new platforms
- Develop and implement automated workflow and internal application solutions using low-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps) or custom code as required.
- Integrate and transform data across core Council platforms (ERP, HRIS, CRM, Pulse) to enable richer analytics and actionable insights.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements, design fit-for-purpose reporting, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Support the exploration and deployment of AI-driven analytics and predictive tools
- Strong programming and scripting experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar
- Proficiency in data visualisation platforms (Power BI, Jedox) and database design (including SQL).
- Experience with workflow automation and low-code platforms (Power Automate, Power Apps, or comparable).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and understand operational requirements
- Understanding of local government operational and financial environments. Experience with AWS.
- Experience with AI, machine learning, or predictive analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), data warehouses, and API integrations.
