Raw Independent Optometry
- A loyal and appreciative patient database with over 35,000 patients spanning over 30 years. We are the longest-standing optometrist in Westfield Penrith.
- No KPIs and a friendly work culture
- No charge for OCT/FC so you can manage critical patients without the stress of financial constraint
- 30-minute appointments with staff-supported pretesting (pressures, autorefraction, autovergence)
- OCT/FC combo
- MRF Visual Fields
- Tonoref
- General refraction and contact lenses
- Ocular pathology and disease management
- Myopia control (atropine, MiyoSmart lenses, MiSight contacts)
- CPD support and OA membership
- Admin time built into your day to finalise reports
- Support from the lead optometrist who works on other days
- Future support with equipment if you wish to specialise in other areas of optometry
- $80,000–$95,000 FTE base + bonuses (typically $6,000–$12,000 annually)
- Superannuation is on top
- At least 2 years of post-graduate experience
- 3 - 5 days a week, that will transition to full-time towards the end of the year with training (long Thursday shift and 1 weekend included)
- A team player who values collaboration and open communication
- A patient-first mindset, committed to clinical excellence and compassion
- Someone who is time efficient and clinically accurate (OCTs and VFs are performed by the optometrist)
- Someone open to refining their techniques (we have not had a prescription remake in over a year)
