The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst - Food eCom (Australian Food) to join the Food eCom team. This is a key commercially and strategically focused role within the eComX Finance Team. The role partners with the Woolworths Online (Food eCom) Leadership Team and is responsible for supporting delivery of its strategic outcomes, clear reporting and analysis, and decision support of the sales and gross profit. Deep knowledge of the business is required to perform the role, including deep understanding of gross profit and the interplay between eCom and Supermarkets.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Food eCom leadership team to drive forward commercial support plans and shape strategic decision making to support the significant growth in eCommerce.
- Work closely with business insight teams and squads to shape and drive decisions.
- Lead Daily, weekly monthly, quarterly GP reporting and analysis for Food eCom financials (including Merch Team, Loyalty, Subscriptions, Smart Growth).
- Accurate and timely delivery, collaborating across multiple stakeholders and driving process improvements to streamline activities.
- Lead the Annual strategic plan and monthly forecasting process for GP, identifying risks early and partnering to deliver on sizing and tracking opportunities to improve results.
- Strategy and innovation - partner with Food eCom leadership team to develop strategic priorities for Woolworths Food eCom and translate these priorities into short and long term goals
- Leadership: Coach and develop the Business Analyst in the team
- Deliver reporting improvements to better understand performance and automation, as well as coaching tobusiness partners to facilitate self serve.
- Finance related degree and CA/CPA qualified/or working towards
- Strong systems experience (SAP, GCP, SQL) and advanced excel/modelling skills
- Ability to take complex financial information and present it in a simple and concise manner
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including an ability to engage, understand and influence stakeholders at all different levels
- Ability to work flexibly and with agility
