Become part of a critical team for The Western Renewables Link Project (WRL), the largest transmission build in over three decades and is critical infrastructure required to unlock the renewable energy potential of Victoria as the state transitions to cleaner, more sustainable energy.



In this role as a Process and Data Lead, you will be responsible for meeting project objectives by embedding a process focused culture through advocacy, education and upskilling of teams through delivery of practical solutions that improve business efficiency, regulatory compliance and business continuity



This role can be based in Melbourne and is part of the Major Projects Team.



This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:


  • Partner with and support project streams to design processes that enable and underpin initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally to facilitate and enable improvement opportunities focusing on process efficiency and compliance.
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders to identify opportunities and refine operational strategies and initiatives.
  • Undertake thorough assessments of processes, workflows, and performance metrics, translating information to solutions.
  • Create measurable performance metrics for processes and initiatives and build reporting mechanisms such as dashboards, spreadsheets and reports to track progress and outcomes.
  • Leverage analytical skills to interpret data, prepare and output data to underpin and metrics and processes
  • Design and implement change management plans to facilitate the adoption of new processes, technologies, and performance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory framework, company policies and procedures are built into process design.
  • Initiate, design and author artifacts including process maps, procedures, policies, training materials, effective change management plans and customer journey.
  • Embed a process focused culture by informing, upskilling and embedding through clear and effective communication of the importance of process improvement



You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:


  • Qualifications: (Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) preferred, Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) minimum and Scientific degree preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience designing processes and workflows to enable efficient, accurate and compliant ways-of-working
  • Experience using Power Platform Core Tools, Dataverse and Data Modelling, Custom Development, Integration Experience, ALM, Security & Governance to combine and manipulate data and to create Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Data modelling interfaces, integration and workflow experience
  • Knowledge of land planning, property acquisition and/or land transaction legislation
  • API Integration (RESTful APIs and JSON) and authentication protocol for any connection to external APIs
  • Cloud Services (Azure, Dataverse)
