Job Description
  • Be the representative of the qualities of someone delivering luxury service standards. To provide warm, welcoming service without compromise to all guests. Is a consummate professional and exemplifies the essence of the Sofitel luxury brand through our values of generosity, responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure correct documentation is completed for all goods entering and leaving the stores.
  • Ensure that all goods are correctly received in accordance with the quantities and quality stated on invoices and in the purchase orders and specifications are accounted for and properly stored.
  • Perform monthly stock counts of inventory in stores and enter details into Inventory System.
  • Ensuring deliveries are received and secured as per HACCP and OH&S Standards
  • Responsible for the prompt distribution of goods to sub-stores or user departments.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and neat arrangement of stores and proper storage of goods.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and security of all storage areas to prevent losses through environmental damage and pilfering.
  • Ensure all goods returned to suppliers are properly authorised and accounted for.
  • Adhere to purchasing procedures as detailed in the department’s policies and procedures manual.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills.
  • 1 - 2 years of previous experience within the same or a similar role is preferred.
  • A friendly, guest-focused attitude with passion for providing exceptional and memorable moments.
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation.
  • Must hold your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
