Site Engineer / Project Engineer – Night Shift – Road Project

3-Month Contract | Sydney | Principal Contractor | TfNSW Experience Essential

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Project Engineer to join a reputable principal contractor for night shift work on a critical road infrastructure upgrade in Sydney. This is a 3-month contract with an immediate start, ideal for engineers with strong backgrounds in TfNSW road projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate night shift works including asphalting and concrete construction
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient delivery
• Conduct QA inspections, ITPs and ensure compliance with TfNSW specifications
• Assist with planning, short-term programming, and daily reporting
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience on TfNSW road infrastructure projects
• Strong exposure to asphalting and concrete pavement works
• Previous experience working with a principal contractor preferred
• Ability to work autonomously during night shift operations
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  
  

Details:

• Location: South Sydney Area
• Shift: Night Shift (occasional handover to day team)
• Duration: 3 months, with potential for extension
