About The Role

As part of our strategic and national growth, we are looking for expressions of interests from suitably experienced Work Health and Safety professionals looking for the next step in their career.

This role will work as part of our overall Risk Advisory Team who provide a full range of risk solutions to help our clients navigate a diverse range of challenges, changes, and opportunities.

You'll get the opportunity to work across all sectors including government as well as the private sector, under the guidance and mentorship of highly reputable Partners.

Responsibilities

You will work with the broader team to further develop and grow our Risk Advisory practice, and will include the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of safety management systems, policies, and procedures for clients
  • Conduct WHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments for clients to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver training programs and engage clients in fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on safety and risk management.
  • Building and developing a team of WHS specialists.

About You

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong internal drive, a growth mindset and aspirations for leadership opportunities. Combined with:

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent
  • Auditing qualifications and or experience in ISO 45001 and ISO 45003
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in health and safety, occupational hygiene, engineering, environmental or health sciences (e.g., organisational psychology), or similar are desirable
  • Strong demonstrable experience in a similar role (e.g., professional services and/or industry experience).
  • Solid knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, and management systems. As well as sound understanding of the psychosocial risk legislative landscape, including Respect@Work is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.
  • Proven ability to build, manage and work within and across other teams e.g., internal audit.
  • Highly developed communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintains high standards of quality in every aspect of work.
