The Role

Over a four year apprenticeship you will learn and be required to:

• Perform routine maintenance.
• Fabricate metal components with various welding and cutting techniques.
• Diagnose and solve mechanical issues.
• Interpret technical drawings.
• Maintain and lubricate machinery.
• Use hand tools and machinery.
• Remove and install various mechanical parts.
• Assist in assembly and installation of new equipment.

Following a three month work trial, you will be signed up as a Maker Apprentice and be enrolled in MEM30219 - Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting/machining).
