Job Description


As a Franchise Operations Executive at Accor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our franchisee-operated hotels across the Pacific region uphold the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to influence and guide General Managers and hotel teams, balancing corporate objectives with individual hotel goals. You will be instrumental in optimising the use of Accor systems and programs, facilitating the integration of new franchisees, and addressing challenges such as high staff turnover and resource limitations within franchisee hotels. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining the integrity of the Accor brand and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This role is based in Accor’s corporate office in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System & Business Support: Provide strategic support and training for hotels on Accor systems (e.g., Anais and TARS) during the integration process. Act as the primary liaison for daily inquiries, resolving issues promptly.
  • KPI & Compliance Monitoring: Oversee the integration of new hotels, ensuring adherence to Accor agreements, key deliverables, and compliance with Loyalty, Risk, Safety, ESG, and WHS standards.
  • Talent & Culture: Assist in onboarding new staff, fostering open communication, and supporting the rollout of Heartist culture initiatives in hotels.
  • Financial Performance: Evaluate the financial impact of activities, implementing measures to enhance Accor's web direct performance across franchise hotels.
  • Accor Representation: Serve as an ambassador for Accor, promoting the company's image and advocating for its services and facilities to key suppliers and partners.
  • Management & Leadership: Embody Accor's values, leading by example, and influencing General Manager performance to align with Accor priorities.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in hotel operations, distribution, sales, or marketing, with a focus on commercial distribution and operations.
  • Proven track record in managing and influencing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex stakeholder environments, building strong relationships across various levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide, train, and influence teams towards achieving organisational goals.
  • Confident and articulate in communication, with strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Strong personal integrity with an entrepreneurial spirit, drive, ambition, and a high level of energy.
  • Ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and responsiveness to change in dynamic environments.
